This event covered a series of topics around personal blogging and establishing a strategy to use your blog as a personal marketing tool. Too many people treat their blog as a personal journal, and then ask why they are not able to create a lasting relationship with readers. The goal of this seminar was to combine a technical component of how to build a blog using blogger or WordPress with a tactical component that outlines how to promote your blog and create relationships with other members of the blogosphere. Additionally, the event covered the use of Twitter and Twitter based applications for various business purposes such as marketing, monitoring, engagement and community building.
